It’s almost here: the 2014 Stereosonic takes place at the Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday December 6th and Sunday December 7th. There’s no shortage of big names on the bill, and at time of posting there are still tickets available.
Headlining on Saturday is Dutch DJ/producer Tiësto, who was voted number one three years in a row in the Top 100 DJs Poll in DJ Magazine. Also playing on Saturday are Calvin Harris, Will Sparks, Diplo, Peking Duk, Duke Dumont, Disclosure, Cedric Gervais, Nina Kraviz, RL Grime, Nina Las Vegas, Timmy Trumpet and more.
The six-time Grammy Award winning Skrillex closes the show on Sunday. Other acts playing on Sunday include Steve Aoki, Alesso, Carl Cox, Ferry Corsten, Laidback Luke, Booka Shade, Alison Wonderland, The Aston Shuffle, Nick Thayer and Joel Fletcher.
This is an age 18+ event: photo ID will be required for entry. Gates open at 1pm and close at 10pm on both days. Single day tickets are $149.95 and a two day pass costs $233.80: both options subject to booking fees. There will be ATM facilities at the venue, but it is recommended you take enough cash as the ATMs are likely to run out of money. You can get more information on the event and book tickets (while still available) here.
