Parlour Coffee in Burleigh Heads opened in June 2015, and has quickly become a favourite with locals and visitors alike. Why? Because it provides great coffee, delicious food and friendly service in an attractive, comfy cafe.
The name comes from the traditional concept of the Parlour Room, where hosts would ply their guests with their finest food and drink. And that’s what the owners are focused on doing. When some of the “hippest” places start to forget that it’s all about quality food & drink AND customer service, it’s refreshing to see a new business doing well because they realise the importance of both.
There is a good selection of food on offer, which tastes delicious and is invariably beautifully presented. Dishes include the quinoa breaky, the ploughman’s board, baked hazelnut granola and the favourite smashed avocado & feta on sourdough. The cake cabinet is worth checking out too.
The single origin coffees are rotated weekly and the house blend is a mix of Colombia, Guatemala & Papua New Guinea. There are cold-pressed fruit/veggie juices on the menu too.
Parlour Coffee is located at 34 Tallebudgera Creek Road in Burleigh Heads.
