Currumbin Sands on the Beach

Currumbin Sands on the Beach in Palm Beach offers family-friendly accommodation in a secluded location. For family-friendly accommodation with a beachfront location, Currumbin Sands is hard to beat.

Although technically situated slightly north of Currumbin in Palm Beach, if you are looking for accommodation in a beautifully secluded spot this may be just the place for you.

Accommodation
This is a very well-maintained complex of one, two or three bedroom apartments. The building itself is a three-story walk-up so if climbing stairs presents any kind of issue, opt for the lower levels.

The apartments give you lots of space, and are bright, modern and very comfortable indeed. Most are air-conditioned and come complete with just about everything you need from self-contained accommodation.

Depending on your position in the complex, you will have views of the ocean, estuary, pool area or gardens. All are very nice, but if you have any preference contact the front desk for advice before you book.

Resort Facilities
The resort itself has an enclosed pool and garden area which is absolutely stunning: the perfect place to unwind. This is a gated complex so it has a very secure feeling. You will probably also notice some of the aircraft noise though, that affects the area due to the proximity of the airport.

Just outside the back gate is direct access to the beach – no roads to cross. To the south is the estuary, and there is a Pirate Park playground next to the resort which children will love. The nearby Dune Cafe is a very popular spot.

Conclusion
With it’s beachfront location, sense of seclusion, wonderful accommodation and peaceful atmosphere, it’s hard to find fault at all. The only thing to keep in mind is that you may find your stay more enjoyable having a car to get around with. That said, this is a great option – especially for families with children – and very reasonably priced.
