If you like to surf you will feel right at home at the Alley, while children can play and swim in the safer waters of the creek. You can get some great views out over the water and along the coast from points like Currumbin Hill Lookout: photographers will love the place. Kite-surfing is popular is popular here too, or perhaps you would like to try kayaking?
While you will find all the shops you are likely to need during your stay, it’s fair to say that Currumbin is not a major retail centre – which for many visitors is a big plus. In the case that you feel the need for some retail therapy during your stay, you won’t have a hard time satisfying that need with a short drive into the surrounding areas.
The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

The Sanctuary has over 25 hectares of grounds with more than 1000 birds and animals including kangaroos, koalas, crocodiles, snakes and more. The daily Lorikeet Feeds are a big draw, and the Sanctuary has the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest walk-in aviary.
