Nobbys Arc is a rather cool restaurant & bar, known best locally perhaps for it’s pizza. But the menu goes well beyond that and there is a great selection of craft beer too.
The menu here is pretty good. For starters you have the choice of more than a dozen Sharing Plates that include dips, antipasto and seafood. The Pizza menu has classics like the margherita but there are also more than ten gourmet pizzas with some delicious topping combinations to tempt you.
The range of pasta is less extensive but equally appetizing. There are a few salads available, our favourite is the cous cous with rocket and feta. If you have any room after that there are some nice desserts including a yummy mudcake.
For an idea on pricing, pizza is generally $20 to $25: if you follow the link below you can check the prices on their menu. There is also a specials menu that varies from week to week.
While there are a few big brand beers like Carlsberg and Carona available, the bar really excels with it’s selection of Australian craft beer like Beez Neez, Fat Yak and Williams Organic.
There are also a few offerings from Coopers, plus some interesting ciders: elderflower & lime, anyone?
The wine range covers all bases very adequately with a good selection of Australian and imported varieties. Cocktails, spirits and schnapps are also readily available.
While the atmosphere is informal and laid-back, the place does get busy – especially at weekends. It’s extremely popular with locals, but if you are from out-of-town you will be made to feel very welcome.
At the weekend there is usually live music: nothing too full on, generally acoustic numbers from local artists.
A cosy dining venue just a couple of kilometres south of Broadbeach with good food, a nice range of craft beer and a friendly atmosphere. You may want to make a booking for weekends.
