Coming up in just over a week’s time is the Mullum Music Festival, which is held in the NSW town of Mullumbimby. This event offers three days of live bands across multiple stages starting at 5pm on Friday November 21st and continuing on until 10pm Sunday November 23rd. The festival officially opens with a Gala Ball on the preceding Thursday evening.
There will be over 120 performances and workshops taking place during the event. Workshops include a guide to using Garageband – the music-making app for Mac/iPhone/iPad users, how to play the harmonica, beatboxing, singing, yoga and more.
Live acts you can catch include The Church, Hurrah For The Riff Raff, the Harry James Angus Band, Saskwatch, Mia Dyson, Bobby Alu, Husky, Kim Churchill, Dubmarine, Declan Kelly & The Rising Sun, The Yearlings and Hussy Hicks.
Camping is possible at the Mullumbimby Showgrounds, which is just over a kilometre out of town: there will a shuttle bus running between the festival and the showgrounds.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for individual days and there is a selection of different multiple day packages available too. Example prices (adult) are $82 for Saturday or Sunday, and $200 for Friday to Sunday inclusive.
